HomeWorks QSX is Lutron's flagship system, built for homes where everything should simply work. One press of a button can set a room or the whole house, with lighting, blinds and curtains moving together.
Built for the whole house
One system
It brings your keypads, lighting (including Ketra and Orluna CCX), blinds and curtains together on a single Lutron platform, designed to work together from the start.
Its own network
It runs on Lutron's own wired and radio connections, separate from your Wi-Fi, so your lighting doesn't depend on what the broadband is doing.
Room to grow
As Lutron adds new lighting and controls, the system can grow with your home.
We use HomeWorks QSX for medium to large properties. For smaller projects and existing homes, RA3 offers the same quality in a simpler package. See also Keypads.
Programming and scene setting
Good hardware with poor programming is one of the most common reasons a Lutron system disappoints. We program every system ourselves, room by room and scene by scene, working from the lighting design so each scene does what the room needs.
Our scenes cover the practical as well as the beautiful: entry, night, all off, and holiday modes, with levels set to save energy and extend the life of the fittings. Dimming is tuned to the actual fittings in each room, so lights dim smoothly all the way down.
We produce detailed engraving reports months before they're needed on site.
Works with the rest of the house
- Voice control through Alexa, Siri and Google
- Sonos audio, controlled from any keypad on the wall
- Heating, with Lutron's Palladiom thermostat matching your keypads
- Integration with AV and security systems such as Savant, Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, Bang & Olufsen and Kaleidescape
- We don't install AV ourselves. We work alongside your AV installer and electricians so the lighting and everything else work together seamlessly.
