Intelligent Lighting
It goes beyond control: it changes the light itself, not just how bright it is. We install two very different kinds, Ketra and Orluna CCX, and you can see both working side by side in our East Horsley showroom.
Which Is Right for You?
Both run on the same Lutron system, from the same keypads and the same app, and both can go into a ceiling that's already finished. The difference is in the light itself, and in where you want to spend.
Ketra: Full Spectrum
Changes colour as well as warmth, and renders colour with real richness. The premium choice for the rooms where light matters most.
Choose Ketra for:
- Rooms with little or no daylight: basements, lower ground floors, inner halls and dressing rooms
- Natural Show, where the light follows the day outside from morning to night
- Art, fabrics, timber and stone, where Vibrancy brings out the colour
- Kitchens and living spaces you use from breakfast to late evening
- A ceiling of downlights that all match, and stay matched
Orluna CCX: Tuneable White
Covers the shades of white most rooms need, from warm to cool, with a much wider range of fittings at a lower cost.
Choose Orluna CCX for:
- Whole house schemes where you want tuneable light throughout
- Wall and floor washers, track, uplights, and waterproof fittings for bathrooms
- Renovations, where each fitting needs only mains power and no control wiring
- Bedrooms, landings and secondary rooms, alongside Ketra in the main rooms
Or Use Both
You don't have to choose one. Ketra can go where colour and daylight matter most, with Orluna CCX everywhere else. Because both sit on one Lutron system, they're grouped into the same scenes and controlled from the same keypads, so the house works as one.
The difference is easiest to judge with your own eyes. Come and see both side by side in our East Horsley showroom, and we'll advise on what suits each room.
