For years Orluna has made some of Britain's best-loved architectural downlights, prized by lighting designers for the quality of their light and the discretion of their form. Orluna is now part of the Lutron family, and its range is available with CCX: wireless control built into every fitting and run natively from a Lutron system.
Orluna's light was inspired by the natural light of Provence, which painters travelled south for. It renders colour truthfully: rich reds, honest whites, and a clarity that brings fabric, timber and stone to life.
Each fitting is a single, seamless form that disappears into the architecture rather than competing with it. Because the whole range is available with CCX, a scheme can be built from one family with one quality of light.

Orluna fittings are made from 100% European raw materials and carry a 20-year repair and reuse guarantee. They're built to be serviced and kept, not thrown away.
It moves control out of the dimming panel and into the fitting. Each light is wireless and individually controlled, needing only mains power, with no control wiring, no racks of dimmers, and no plant room given over to panels.
In a new build, that means a simpler first fix and space back in the plans. In a renovation, it changes what's possible. A bedroom with a single pendant on one cable can become a row of downlights, picture lights, bedside pendants and concealed tape. Each one is its own zone, grouped in the software rather than in the wall.
Because the zones live in software, the scheme is never fixed. When rooms change use or furniture moves, the lighting can be regrouped without an electrician.
CCX fittings are also tuneable, so you can set warmth as well as brightness to suit the room and the time of day. If you want tuneable light without going to full-spectrum Ketra, Orluna CCX is often the place to start.
CCX runs natively on HomeWorks QSX and RA3, the same systems as the keypads and blinds, so everything works from one system and one app. RA3 support matters because it brings this quality of light to projects that don't need a full HomeWorks installation.
Through our close relationship with Lutron, we've worked with CCX since before its UK launch. We design the scheme, supply and install the fittings, program the scenes, and look after the system once you're living with it.
Every fitting is working in our East Horsley showroom, alongside Ketra.
